Program
Description
The Doctorate in Sacred Theology (Sacrae Theologiae Doctor, STD) is a program of a least four semesters for the Canonical Doctorate in Theology.
Prerequisite
STL or equivalent magna
cum laude. If students have not obtained the Licentiate
at the ITI, they may have to take courses in order to complete
their preparation.
Requirements
Preparatory year, one-hour lectio
coram with discussion, and thesis of 200-250 pages. In the
first year of their studies, annus ad doctoratum, Doctoral candidates
study a list of texts prepared by them under the supervision
of an instructor, who will also act as their adviser during
the writing of their dissertation.
