The Institute appreciates that our benefactors have very personal
reasons for giving. We therefore try to offer a range of giving
opportunities that best fit the needs of our generous benefactors.
It is our wish to make giving to the Institute a joy for our
benefactors. We have the following giving opportunities:
I Unrestricted gifts
The most commonly applied way of giving: to let the Institute
decide how your generous contribution to the mission will be
used. We will report to you on the use of your gift.
II Restricted gifts
- Fund a chair
- Fund a student scholarship
- Fund the enlargement of the library collection
- Other projects you choose
III Endowment
- Endow a chair
- Endow the scholarship fund
IV Gifts-in-kind
You may want to donate certain goods which could be used for
the Institute’s mission, such as books, certain furniture
or art.
V Estate gifts
Many benefactors like to name an educational organization
they support in their will. If you would like to list us in
your estate planning, please contract our vice president for
development. Estate gifts can be restricted or unrestricted.
VI Chancellor’s Council
The Chancellor’s Council was created to honor our existing
faithful benefactors and to enable new benefactors to join
the mission of the ITI in a special way. Members of the Council
commit to giving at least €1000 a year to help our students
with scholarships. Please contact us for more information on
membership of the Chancellor’s Council.
Donations to the ITI are tax-deductible in
Austria and the US.
